Horse + Bed

Horse + Bed is a super fun concept for horse lovers. You can go on vacation together with your horse! We offer this wonderful opportunity at our small accommodation.We have room for 2 horses per period. 

Unfortunately, horseback riding and keeping a horse is becoming more and more expensive, even for us. Our own horses are not (anymore) stabled so we do not buy (expensive) straw. Yet we want to continue to offer an all-inclusive vacation for you and your horse. A rental accommodation for you and a large paddock with shelter for your horse. Bookings from 2 nights, arrival on Friday and departure on Sunday.

If you want to stay longer with your horse or if you want to come with 1 horse and 2 persons, that is of course possible. When staying longer than 2 nights, then arrival is not possible on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

Price: 

The price of € 271 is for a stay of 2 nights, for 2 persons and 2 horses/ponies excluding tourist tax.Towels, bed linen, coffee/tea, some goodies on arrival, is included. Final cleaning is also included in the price. 

The tourist tax for the Municipality of Schagen is € 2,06 p.p.p.n. If you want to stay longer with your horse, that is of course possible! 

Horse Care:

• paddock service, 24 hours outside with shelter, water and hay. Limited stable for night still available in 2025
• unpackaged hay according to the horse's needs
• bring your own concentrate
• fattening service
• use of all horse facilities, indoor arena, outdoor track 20 x 45 with jumping equipment, double wash/brush area and horse walker

Shet & Bed:

We also offer Shet and Bed. The concept Horse and Bed is pretty much the same, only you don't bring your own horse but care, ride, and brush our 6-foot Shetlander Snoes. If there is no experience with pony', we can guide you. Nice for a mini vacation with mother/daughter or grandmother and grandchild. Bookable from 2 nights.
